Sadie & Kevin’s Battle Ground, Washington Engagement Session

There’s nothing better than the Pacific Northwest in late spring and early summer. Oh, wait, I lied! It’s actually perfect to photograph gorgeous outdoor engagement sessions in the late spring and early summer here! Sadie and Kevin joined me at Lewisville Regional Park in Battle Ground, Washington for their sun-lit engagement session. It was fun, outdoorsy, and so loving! 

The Couple

Sadie and Kevin met through some mutual friends, as great love stories often start! Kevin joined Sadie one weekend when she was watching her mom’s animals for a few days, and the two have truly been inseparable since. They were friends before this fateful weekend, but that time together really cemented for them that they were meant for each other! Who else is channeling the heart-eye emoji right now?!

Their Washington Engagement Session

Sadie found me through a Facebook ad, and told me that she loved the idea of focusing on the intimate in-between moments that are most important to her, rather than on the posed, aesthetic shots. This is what I strive for with every shoot, so I was thrilled that this spoke to Sadie and I was even more excited about how this session turned out!

The pair absolutely love water, so Lewisville Regional Park was the perfect place here in Washington for their engagement session. The river was a gorgeous backdrop to incorporate in their photos. Plus, I loved the outfits these two chose for the shoot, too! Sadie really popped in her pink dress against all that greenery. And, with the sun filtering in just right through the trees, this literally could not have been more perfect!
