Alyssa & Austin’s Flower Farm Wedding at Wooden Shoe
A match made in heaven…that’s what comes to mind when I think About Alyssa and Austin! These high school sweethearts tied the knot at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Oregon. You can’t get any better than this flower farm wedding!
Alyssa and Austin’s Story
I know I gave it away already, but these two met in high school and hit it off right away. They were together through high school and college! School is a huge time of change for so many people, and being at your person’s side during this time to watch each other grow is magical!
Alyssa and Austin decided on a gorgeous August wedding at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm after initially thinking they’d get married on family property. They fell in love with this venue, and the rest clicked into place.
A Flower Farm Wedding
All my Oregon dwellers are familiar with the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival, but not a lot of people know that Wooden Shoe does a lot more than their famous flower farm festival! In addition to a vineyard, shops, and more, they host special events like weddings in their Wooden Shoe Garden space. You can have anywhere from 25 to 400 guests at your wedding here, for an intimate experience or a full-blown party! The warm months from May to September are the best times to get married here.
Which, of course, is what Alyssa and Austin chose to do! The day began overcast for these two, but we saw the sun just before the ceremony, which is another sign that it was absolutely meant to be! The blue in the color palette Alyssa and Austin chose looked amazing against the lush gardens of this amazing flower farm wedding venue.
